Influence of Foliar Application of NAA and Zinc on Yield and Quality Attributes of Guava (Psidium guajava L.) cv. L-49

An experiment was carried out at Department of Fruit Science, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University Agriculture & Technology Meerut (U.P), India during two consecutive years i.e., 2021-22 and 2022-23 to assess the Influence foliar Spray NAA Zinc on growth, flowering, fruiting, yield quality Guava (Psidium guajava L.) cv. L-49 under western U.P. conditions. The spray micronutrients along with plant growth regulators play an important role in manipulating many physiological phenomena, improving enhanced productivity plants by fulfilling nutritional needs fruit crops. Twelve treatments viz., three level (0, 50, 75 ppm) four 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 %) their combinations were used, which replicated factorial Randomized Block Design. Results showed @75 ppm (N2) individually registered 53.75 53.06 kg/plant application % (Zn3) concentration recorded 53.86 53.17 kg/plant. Interactive effect naphthalene acetic acid (N2Zn3) 59.56 58.81 while parameter pectin range 0.79 0.80 treatment 0.82 outperformed other treatments. combination could be ideal recommended for production guava Indo-Gangetic plains India.
